Vikram is a seasoned healthcare strategy consultant with over 12 years of global healthcare industry experience. His passion to redefine healthcare delivery in India prompted him to found NephroPlus, a chain of premium dialysis centers.
He has helped hospitals, dialysis centers, pharmacy benefit managers, healthcare distributors, consumer health, and pharmaceutical clients on various strategic issues such as business development, growth strategy, operational improvement, portfolio rationalization, redefining customer strategies, clinical trial strategy and M&A.
Prior to founding NephroPlus, Vikram was a strategy consultant at McKinsey & Company in their New Jersey office. He also founded an internal management consulting group at Abbott Laboratories helping key management on various strategic and sales force management issues. Prior to that Vikram worked for two years as a business analyst at ZS Associates, a worldwide leader in sales force management consulting.
Vikram did his Bachelors in Chemical engineering from IIT-Kharagpur, Masters in Computer Science from University of Illinois, and a full time MBA from the University of Chicago, Booth school of business. He is based out of Hyderabad, India and enjoys international travel, bollywood movies, roller blading, and sky diving.
Kamal has been on dialysis from July 1997. Diagnosed with atypical Hemolytic Uremic Syndrome in July 1997, he was on hemodialysis for a year and a half before undergoing an unsuccessful renal transplant. His mother had donated her kidney.
Kamal was then on Peritoneal Dialysis for six years. He was caught in the Tsunami of December 2004 while holidaying in Mahabalipuram with some friends. A series of exit site, tunnel and peritoneal cavity infections later, he had to give up PD.
Kamal then switched to daily nocturnal home hemodialysis. He is currently on this modality.
Kamal did his Chemical Engineering from Osmania University. He developed software for Apple products for about 10 years before co-founding NephroPlus.
Kamal strongly believes that being diagnosed with kidney disease is not the end of life. Rather, it is the beginning of a new life – albeit a slightly different life. Yes, you do have to compromise on some aspects. However, it does not have to prevent you from living the life you want to live. Kamal swims every day, works full time and travels regularly. Dr. Suresh Sankar is a dually specialized professional combining two decades of Nephrology practice with a decade of clinical leadership experience. Sukaran is a post-graduate from the Indian Institute of Technology, (IIT), Chennai. He started his career with a startup into Healthcare Diagnostics space in India in their Operations team based out of Chennai, India, where he won numerous accolades & awards.
During his 5-year stint with Medall Healthcare, he learnt the nitty gritties of business management both from a topline and bottom perspective in an offline retain chain environment. His multidimensional skills are now stronger than ever. Over recent past, he’s developed a keen sense of learning & expertise in online and offline retail operations, social media strategy, analyzing market and customer insights.
Sukaran is also an amateur photographer, an avid traveller, and a full-time foodie.
Vaibhav is a seasoned Finance Professional having experience in various industries like IT, Telecom, Retail & Healthcare. His passion to work in early stage companies prompted him to join NephroPlus. Vaibhav heads Finance, Supply Chain and the Vigilance function and has been associated with NephroPlus from March 2013 onwards.
Prior to joining NephroPlus, Vaibhav was heading the Finance function in Maxrange Retail Private Limited. He also worked in Aircel Ltd as Management Accountant for a period of 2.5 years. Prior to that, he was employed as Lead Analyst with Satyam Computers Services Limited. His solid background in Finance holds him in good stead for managing Finances at NephroPlus.
Vaibhav is a qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) from Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) and Certified Information System Auditor (CISA) from Information Systems Audit and Control Association( ISACA), US.
Ravee has more than 12 years of experience across various industries and roles. By working in business categories like Consumer Products, Retail Operations, Health & Wellness Operations/Franchise Development in both established companies and start-ups, he has built up a strong strategic perspective with an entrepreneurial instinct.
After leading the India Operations of NephroPlus for 4 years and having set up and run operations of 100 plus dialysis centers, he is currently leading the International Operations where he will be replicating the high quality dialysis model of NephroPlus from India to other parts of the developing world.
Prior to joining NephroPlus, Ravee was leading the franchise development for Apollo Clinic which is a primary healthcare clinic model of the Apollo Hospitals Group. He has also had stints with Dell & Estee Lauder Companies leading diverse teams to achieve business goals. A Delhi University pass out, he went on to do his MBA in Sales & Marketing from Symbiosis University. Ravee was named one of top 100 Indian retail professionals by Asia Retail Congress for the year 2015.
He is an avid foodie and loves to talk about fitness, both seemingly contradictory but he manages somehow to balance them!
Rohit is a thorough service industry professional with an expertise in P&L management and network expansion which he has successfully demonstrated in his previous assignments with Apollo Hospitals, DLF and ITC Hotels Ltd. Presently he heads Business Development at NephroPlus.
Rohit believes that healthcare delivery in India is going through a transformation where quality, affordability and reach will be the most important pillars of growth and hence, is excited to be part of it.
He graduated from the prestigious Welcomlegionnaire Programme (leadership programme of ITC Hotels) and then after working for several years moved on to complete his full-time MBA from Indian School of Business, Hyderabad.
Apart from his love for travelling, Rohit actively takes out time from his schedule for a game of squash and is an aspiring golfer as well – he hopes to hit a birdie soon!
Sukesh is a dynamic business development, strategy and sales professional with over 10 years of diverse experience in healthcare (pharmaceutical, medical devices, diagnostics and life sciences).
He has been instrumental in penetrating newer geographies and managing the entire gamut of BD and sales activities in the USA, LATAM, Europe, APAC, Middle East, Russia and CIS for multiple organizations.
Prior to joining NephroPlus, he was heading the diagnostics business unit in Medlife International.
Earlier, he also had international stints with Eurofins Scientific (erstwhile Advinus Therapeutics), BioGenex, Sentiss Pharma and Tata Consultancy Services.
Sukesh obtained his B.Tech in Biotechnology from WBUT, M.Tech in Bioinformatics from University of Hyderabad and a full time MBA from Faculty of Management Studies – Delhi.
He is a sports enthusiast and likes playing cricket, football and badminton. He is also an avid runner and enjoys running marathons and swimming.
Suket heads the Strategy function at NephroPlus and brings in over 9 years of experience in e-commerce, retail, strategy and technology.
Prior to joining NephroPlus, Suket was leading business strategy, marketing, finance and investor relations at BlueStone, an omni-channel jewellery brand. Prior to that, he worked as a Senior Consultant at PwC Strategy& (formerly Booz & Company) developing sustainable growth strategies for multinational companies. His experience in technology includes building software products at Oracle.
Suket did his B.Tech. in Computer Science & Engineering from IIT Madras and full-time MBA from IIM Ahmedabad. He is passionate about sports, especially football and tennis. He is always game for a round of table tennis and any board game that he can lay his hands on.
