Poha Phirni is a simple and delicious cram dessert. You can also add kidney friendly supplement to make it rich in protein.
Serving Size-3/4 bowl
Portion Size: 3 bowl
Poha(Rice flakes) ¼ th cup
Milk(cow) 2 cups
Sugar 1 tbsp
Almonds 5 in no
Corn flour 1 tsp
In a pan, dry roast the poha till crispy. Let it cool. Grind the poha into coarse powder.
Boil 1.5 cup of milk in a pan and add poha while stirring continuously.
Side wise, in half cup of milk add corn flour and stir well.
Add the corn flour mix to pan and stir well.
Add sugar and simmer it for 2-3 minutes do not let it harden.
Turn the flame off once you achieve the right consistency.
Garnish with chopped almonds and serve.
