PORTIONS: 6 servings

SERVING SIZE:  130 ml

INGREDIENTS:
  • Beetroot ½ cup
  • Honey 1 ½ tbsp (As per taste)
  • Soda water 1 bottle (474 ml)
  • Ice cubes 6 pieces
  • Lemon rind 1 tsp
  • Lemon juice 5 tsp
  • Lemon wedges or mint leaves for garnishing (optional)
PREPARATION:
  1. Cook beet-root until soft, about 20-25 minutes.
  2. Drain the water. Keep cooked beet aside.
  3. Place cooled beets in a food processor and puree until smooth.
  4. In small bowl, mix honey, lemon juice and lemon rind.
  5. Then, add the beet puree, mix it well. Divide  it into 6 equal
  6. Fill each glass with ice cube and 1 portion of the beet mixture.
  7. Pour soda water and garnish each glass with lemon wedges or mint leaves.
  8. Serve immediately.
