I have always loved to travel. I have been to 4 countries and to many cities within India on holidays with my family. I enjoy the opportunities travel gives me to see new places, to explore nature at its best and to meet different people.
So, when I was diagnosed with kidney disease at the age of 63 years and eventually had to start dialysis, I was shattered. I thought that was an end to all my travel. I simply did not have the energy to go through the entire process of booking flights, hotels, cabs etc. I was also scared of the quality of dialysis available. I did not want to take chances.
Then I heard about NephroPlus’s Holiday Dialysis program. I was excited. They would take care of everything. Their package also included dialysis at a high quality NephroPlus Dialysis Centre. I did not have to bother about anything. I immediately decided to try this out.
The first trip I did with my family was to the backwaters of Alleppey. I will never forget the experience of getting into a houseboat and cruising along the streams of water with palms on either side! It was simply magical. The dialysis was also totally hassle-free. The dialysis centre was very well-maintained. The staff took special care of me.
I subsequently saw the Taj Mahal in Agra and also undertook a pilgrimage to the holy Tirumala temple at Tirupathi. All thanks to NephroPlus!
